After years of posting manual, hand-coded updates for all my fanlistings, I’ve decided to use FanUpdate to post updates to my fanlistings an collective. I thought it might be a bit easier, and less of a hassle so hopefully it’ll be exactly that. We’ll see how it turns out I guess.

I finally figured out how to display the custom fields, and I feel pretty stupid for not figuring it out sooner. I was so close to getting it but I just didn’t pay quite enough attention to something. But I got it. I also found out how to customize the inputs for those fields on the join form. I changed current members answers to the custom fields to fit in with the options I put in. If you’re a current member (joined before November 10th, 2007 2:43PM MST [4:43PM EST]) and I changed your answer, and you don’t like what I changed it to, then you can update your information and change your answer.

I linked some other “Class of ____” fanlistings. Just waiting for response to affiliation. I also added some other links at the bottom of this page.

A New Day is now officially open. On the join form I have two additional fields, but at the current time they do not show up on the members list. I’m still trying to figure out how to get them to show up. I’m using Entusiast as my script and I haven’t found how to do that yet, but in case you’re wondering, that’s why those fields are there. Once I figure it out, your answers will show up on the members page.
